Kids Animation Clubs P1 - S6

Does your child enjoy Disney & Pixar animations? computer games? watch countless animated short films on YouTube? and ever wondered how they are created?

Our Kids Animation Club runs weekly on Friday afternoons (90min) and focuses on all the design & making processes in both traditional & modern digital animation techniques. Children will not only have the opportunities, to take on the roles as an animator, but also director, scene, set and audio producer & editor to either work individually or as part of a small group to create various animated stop motion films. 

 

Children will work through the processes of animation with character design and storyboards before learning and experimenting with cut outs, clay modelling, Lego or digital drawing techniques.  They can also create 3D sets & props with papier mache, use our fully equipped photography studio to create backdrops and our studio lighting to create special effects.  Our kids animation club allows for imagination and creativity,

 

Children can explore their own interest, hobbies before embarking on the journey towards an animated stop motion film or create a new gaming character and world. Our animation for kids uses simple apps for iPad, so these are easy to use for even the youngest of animators, to cameras and computers for older children who want to be challenged or expand their animation knowledge.

Perfect after school class for children who like to be more hands on, making & constructing or drawing to fun & vivid, imaginative story telling.  All materials are provided in a fully supported art studio.
